About Lea Alcantara

I'm the Creative Principal / Chief Hired Gun of Lealea Design. When I was around five years old, my parents took my sister and I to a trip to Hong Kong. There, my mom asked me to pick a toy as a gift during our trip. I left with a toy computer; even at that young age, my fate was sealed. I was meant to be a geek. However, I've always had a creative streak, and marrying my love for technology with my artistic sensibilities always made sense. Now here I am.
It's one thing to speak about myself, it's another to be recognized by my colleagues and peers. The footer shows the various galleries I've been featured in. I've also been kindly considered as a hot female web designer as well as one of the best female web designers in the world. People also believe I'm pretty genuine and authentic. It's incredibly humbling and flattering to be mentioned in any of these lists, but how I treat my clients and provide them solutions is what really matters.
In my spare time, I've volunteered as a broadcaster at VoicePrint to serve millions of Canadians who can't independently access printed materials. I also love to cook, keep fit, write, sing and dance. If you're interested in learning more about me, sneak over to the interviews on the right!
